the enderman experience

being an enderman is such a cool experience and it encompasses a wide array of feelings and emotions

it's existing outside of everything else; a silent observer, watching but not interacting

it's struggling to follow the rules that feel so unnatural to you; the eye contact, the facial expressions, the socialising that makes you want to rip off your own skin

it's feeling alone, but being content with that; not needing anyone else because you're happy as you are

it's standing in the room idly, imagining your tail swaying from side to side and your ears alert to any sound

it's listening to the vwoops and clicks of your own kind, knowing that you'll never be able to produce those noises

it's looking at yourself and finding your body too small, your limbs too short and your claws too blunt

it's missing experiences you've never had; the feeling of teleportation, the taste of the chorus fruits, the comfort of holding a block

it's finding comfort in the darkness, and looking up to a sky too full of stars to fully feel like home

it's existing as a human, but being so much more; a monster hidden behind your eyes
